We're thrilled to invite you and your young athletes to take part in the AIMS KIDS SERIES 2025, DHAKA Bangladesh. This exciting event was created by AIMS to inspire children globally to embrace healthy lifestyle habits through running; and discover the joy and benefits of fitness that they may carry forward throughout their lives. This kids run is more than just a race - it's an opportunity for our youth to build confidence, develop healthy habits, and experience the camaraderie and social bonds of the running community.

AIMS KIDS SERIES is all about encouraging kids to stay active while having fun. It's a non- competitive, family-friendly event where children get to participate in 3 category of 100 meters, 500 meters and 1KM run, enjoy exciting activities, and celebrate their accomplishments together.

Colorful Fun Run

Kids will run, play, and laugh through a safe 100 meters, 500 meters and 1KM course decorated with colorful stations, balloons, and cheering zones. It's all about making memories, not speed!

Family Fun Activities

After the run, families can enjoy an array of entertaining activities, from face painting and games to live music and photo booths.

Medals and Certificates for All Participants

Every child is a winner! Each participant will receive a special AIMS medal and certificate to celebrate their achievement and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Healthy Snacks & Refreshments

A selection of kid-friendly snacks and refreshing drinks will be available to keep our little athletes energized and hydrated.

DHAKA …the future of running!



The AIMS KIDS RUN SERIES 2025 returns after a 5-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Every (3) years AIMS selects up to (3) countries by application to be awarded a (3) year sponsorship to create a Kids Run. RunBangla International, representing Bangladesh, was awarded the first new event, joined later by Morocco and Thailand. Supported by RunBangla International (RBI) and the Mirpur Runners (MR) this first run on 21 February, 2025 (7am-11am) promises to be a spectacular and memorable event!

The location this year will be at the Police Staff College grounds in Mirpur, Dhaka. This run will include children aged 13 and under in (3) age appropriate category events of 100m/500m/1000m. The day will be festive as the children will be treated to games, girls, healthy food and good fun with their families. Separate to the kids run on 21 Feb, RBI is making outreach efforts to girls and boys from underprivileged, disabled and indigenous communities to host (3) smaller events at future dates, with a goal to make certain that all children are included.

This global initiative by AIMS has a goal shared by RBI and MR to inspire every child; regardless of gender, race, physical ability or socio economic background to find the joy, confidence, and passion to embrace a healthy lifestyle through running from a young age and forge good habits that they can carry throughout their life. Every child is a part of our collective future, and they are the future of running.
